RECENT BOMB ATTACKS RESULT OF RUGOVA, THACI
CONFLICT - KOVOSO SERB OFFICIAL
Tanjug - July 27, 2003
Kosovska Mitrovica - Serb coalition Povratak (Return) MP in the
Kosovo parliament Rada Trajkovic said
Sunday (27 July) that the recent bomb attacks throughout
Kosovo-Metohija are a consequence of a
conflict between Kosovo President
Ibrahim Rugova and Kosovo Democratic
Party leader Hashim Thaci.
The goal of the frequent attacks is to frighten witnesses and stop them from
testifying, and also constitute an open threat to the international community
since the targets are institutions such as police stations, Trajkovic told
Tanjug. According to Trajkovic, Rugova's men have been collecting evidence on
some of the crimes committed in the province.
