SPS says Tadic replacing all involved in past national defense

10:09 BELGRADE - The Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) said on Tuesday the statement by Serbia and Montenegro (SCG) Defense Minister Boris Tadic that General Vladimir Lazarevic was replaced because The Hague international tribunal is investigating his past activities confirms the fact that all those who took part in defending the country are being replaced in the army, police, security organs, and other state institutions.

"This is further proof that the authorities are practicing a policy of fawning upon foreign political and important power centers, instead of protecting state and national interests," the SPS statement said.
