Ethnic Albanian extremists made assassination attempt on Covic

09:52 BELGRADE - Ethnic Albanian extremists in South Serbia have made an assassination attempt on Serbian Deputy Premier Nebojsa Covic, the Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti said in its Monday issue.
 
Knowing that Covic would leave for Presevo to confer with representatives of the local authority, following a session of the municipal assembly, extremists made an ambush on the Bujanovac-Presevo road.
