Organized crime in Kosovo under patronage of "KLA" leaders
Tanjug - November 14, 2003

14:42 BELGRADE - Albanian terrorism in Kosovo and Metohija is linked to organized crime, which enjoys political support, so that all the talk about an independent state is in fact a cover for the interests of certain criminal structures for them to go legal, it is said in the book "Albanian Terrorism and Organized Crime in Kosovo and Metohija," published by the Serbian government.

The expansion of organized crime in Kosovo is a consequence of terrorist activities of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), whose leaders have used the "authority" of the organization so as to establish control over the trafficking of drugs, arms, stolen vehicles, weapons, women and the resale of human organs.
