Tanjug - December 9, 2003

17:12 BELGRADE , Dec 9 (Tanjug) - Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Main Board President Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday that the party expected a better result at the forthcoming Serbian parliamentary elections than the one it had achieved in December 2000.

At the time, the SPS won 13.5 percent of the vote, Dacic told a news conference at the Serbia-Montenegro parliament. He invited citizens to read the programmes of all political parties that are taking part in the parliamentary elections and said that this was "as if you were reading the SPS programme."
