European News IN BRIEF: Grenade attack hurts 9 in Kosovo

MITROVICA A grenade attack on a Serbian cafZ on Saturday injured nine people and has fuelled fears of a fresh wave of violence in Kosovo, where two million ethnic Albanians are pushing for independence from Serbia. An ethnic Albanian teenager was arrested yesterday in connection with the attack, in which seven Serbs, a heavily pregnant Dutchwoman and a British UN policeman, were wounded.
