Russian government to give guarantees for Milosevic

Glas Javnosti: Putin Approves Slobodan Milosevic's Treatment in Russia

Belgrade - Russia's President Vladimir Putin supported personally the idea for Slobodan Milosevic being treated in Russia, the Serbian newspaper Glas Javnosti informs.

Russian government will present official guarantees to the Hague Tribunal for the transfer of Milosevic to the Moscow hospital, Milutin Markovic, close friend of Milosevic, announced. According to him Milosevic had initially asked to be treated in Serbia but Serbian authorities failed to present the necessary guarantees.
